RadioLaRed: Milan and Inter both keen on signing versatile River Plate defender

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan and Inter could be set to contest a market derby over River Plate full-back Fabrizio Angileri, according to a report.

Both Milanese clubs are looking for reinforcements and opportunities on the transfer market and according to what is being reported by RadioLaRed (via Calciomercato.it), both clubs are keen on 28-year-old Fabrizio Angileri.

His contract with River Plate will expire in June and he may therefore decide to try a new experience abroad, potentially in Europe. What appeals to the Milan clubs is that he can play both on the right and on the left side of a back four which is of course very useful versatility to have.

However, there is competition from Spain to deal with because Angileri is attracting interest from Getafe and other clubs in LaLiga. He has made 68 appearances for the Buenos Aires club in his career with them, amassing 4 goals and 13 assists in that time.
