CorSera: Milan have interest in Spurs midfielder but formula could be an issue

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are interested in signing midfielder Pape Matar Sarr from Tottenham but there is work to do on the formula, a report claims.

According to Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews) this morning, the Rossoneri are in the market for a new central midfielder and in addition to the Renato Sanches track – which is still alive – Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have taken a keen interest in Pape Matar Sarr.

It was reported by various sources that Milan met with Spurs sporting director Fabio Paratici and the name of the former FC Metz man come up, and now the paper have confirmed that Milan are keen on the 19-year-old Senegal international.

However, there is some work that must be done on the formula of the potential operation as Milan would like a loan with option to buy, but Tottenham are unlikely to agree to such a proposal as things stand currently.
