AC Milan are planning on having a summer transfer window that comfortably strengthens the squad given the targets they have in mind, a report claims.
According to this morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) the directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have already studied an important summer mercato as they look to build on the players they currently have ahead of the 2022-23 season.
The summer campaign will have to put Stefano Pioli in a position to allow Milan to compete for the Scudetto, but also to be able to get into the second phase of the Champions League, thus to finish in the top two of their group.
Investments will therefore be made given the ambitions that the management and the ownership have, and the paper goes on to mention that Maldini and Massara managed to save some budget from last summer and the most recent January budget which can be added to the pot.
