CM.it: Milan and Juventus still dream of signing Man City star after intriguing comments

By Oliver Fisher -

As unlikely as the move seems at the moment, AC Milan still have the dream of being able to sign Bernardo Silva from Manchester City.

Calciomercato.it writes how the Portuguese playmaker of was strongly linked with both Juventus and Milan last summer, but given the level of player he is and the fact he cost Manchester City €50m plus add-ons potentially reaching €70m (via Wiki), fans of both teams took it with a grain of salt.

This season the former Monaco man has played 35 games, for a total of 2804 minutes, he has scored 10 goals so far and has added 3 assists. However, it seems as though the player has not closed the door to a potential exit.

In an interview with The Times he explained that he was pushing to leave Manchester City: “I spoke to the club why not I was happy with my life here and wanted to be closer to my family. But it had nothing to do with the club.

“I love Manchester City. I love my team-mates, I love the fans, I love the club. Nothing happened after that. I stayed and I will always give my best for this club as long as I stay here

“At the end of the season, I will sit down with City and see what is best for both of us. We are halfway through the season and we want to win many important trophies.”

Of course the declaration shows that he only wants to think of City for the moment, but Juventus and Milan are still dreaming of the idea of signing him if an opportunity becomes available.

  1. Is Italy that much closer to Portugal than England? Something doesn’t make sense. He probably hates the weather and food.

  2. Just forget this. Too expensive price and high salary. There is no way he Will accept 5-6m euro salary in AC Milan
