AC Milan and Juventus will face off as rivals on the field this evening but they could also contest a battle on the transfer market too, a report claims.
Calciomercato.com report that both Milan and Juventus are vying to close the gap to the current leaders Napoli but at the same time they are also vigilant on where to strengthen the squad either in January or next summer.
The Rossoneri and Bianconeri share a name on their respective wish lists: Noah Okafor. The Red Bull Salzburg star has scored eight goals in 14 games so far this season including three in three Champions League outings, with one coming against Milan.
The report claims that Okafor is ready to make the move to a top European team, and the Milan management believe he would be perfect for Pioli because of his technical and athletic characteristics, so in the next few days they will schedule a meeting with his agents.
Juve have also scouted him on several occasions during the season, but they are aware that in the summer an auction could be triggered with some English clubs keen, especially considering the expiry of his contract being in 2024.
