CM: Milan and Juventus watching development of Stade Reims midfielder Cajuste

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan and Juventus are both taking an interest in Stade de Reims midfielder Jens Cajuste, according to a report.

Calciomercato.com begin a report on Cajuste by recalling that he had the nickname of ‘corn cob’ when he was younger due to being very tall and very thin, but he has now grown into one of the most impressive young midfielders in Ligue 1.

He joined Midtjylland from Örgryte IS in 2018 and spent four years there before making the move to Reims, where he has made 28 Ligue 1 appearances since joining last year, scoring five goals in the process despite mostly playing at the base of the midfield.

In the recent past there has been no shortage of contacts and conversations with some clubs in Serie A and in the future it is possible that these discussions will resume, with Milan and Juventus mentioned in the headline as being interested.

The 23-year-old is Swedish by birth but also an American by passport, with a great passion for the NBA and a some time as a youth player in China under his belt. Could another new experience in Italy await?
