Alejandro Grimaldo’s future could well be in Serie A but the chance of him accepting a move to AC Milan seems remote at the moment, a report claims.
According to Calciomercato.com, Grimaldo was recently approached by Milan who asked for information on his contractual situation given that his deal with Benfica will expire in June, but it was a simple enquiry and they did not go into detail.
In truth, the Spaniard is not likely to agree to join the Rossoneri to be a back up for Theo Hernandez, given that it would give him few prospects of getting the kind of playing time that he is looking for.
If Milan remain an unlikely option for Grimaldo, the same cannot be said of Juventus as they are in talks with the 27-year-old’s entourage and are ready to offer a three-year contract, with the aim of having him take over from Alex Sandro who is destined to leave Juve at the end of the season.
