CM.it: Auction could be sparked as list clubs keen on Spezia ace grows

By Oliver Fisher -

An auction could well soon be sparked as the number of clubs interested in signing Jakub Kiwior from Spezia continues to increase, a report claims.

Calciomercato.it report that Kiwior attracted the attention of Milan as the Rossoneri management tested the ground already in the summer transfer window but did not manage to seal the deal because Spezia rebuffed the attempts of the Scudetto winners but also West Ham, who had an eight-figure offer (€10m+) rejected.

Months later, Maldini is contemplating a new blitz, especially given that there continues to be injuries to Milan’s defensive department. However, Roma are also mentioned as being keen and Kiwior could also be tempting to Inter and Juventus.

The Nerazzurri may well have to soon sell Milan Skriniar, while Juve could pair the Poland international with Gleison Bremer and Roma are watching the evolution of the situation as an interested spectator, waiting to pounce if Kumbulla were to leave.

  1. At the end of the day, whoever moves faster and offers a decent price should be able to sign him, unless the player is particularly keen on a certain club or Spezia want to risk trying to get a bidding war started.

    1. Milan has “dibs” due to the loan contract of Caldara though. But if the player wants to go elsewhere Milan’s dibs ain’t worth s***.
