AC Milan directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are active on multiple fronts as they look to reinforce the squad, particularly with regards to the attacking department.
In an editorial for TMW, Niccolò Ceccarini writes that the two directors are ‘always very active’ and are ‘attentive on all fronts to try to strengthen the team’. The Rossoneri know that they will at some point have to invest an amount to find the centre-forward of the future given the age of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Olivier Giroud plus Divock Origi’s physical issues.
One player that Maldini and Massara liked was Benjamin Sesko of Red Bull Salzburg, but he has already been secured by RB Leipzig for next season. The spotlight has recently also turned on Rasmus Hojlund, Atalanta’s summer signing, who has had an immediate and positive impact in Serie A.
Ajax’s Mohamed Kudus and Chelsea’s Armando Broja are also monitored by the Rossoneri, as it is clear that there is a preference to sign a young striker with big potential.
