AC Milan and Lazio have both taken an interest in signing Nicolo Casale from Hellas Verona and have asked for information, a report claims.
Calciomercato.com reports that Verona could say goodbye to a couple of their biggest performers in the summer with attacking midfielder Antonin Barak in the front row, but now also the young centre-back Nicolò Casale .
In the January transfer market several club knocked on Verona’s door asking about the potential of signing the 23-year-old and Milan made some enquiries as they were desperate to sign a defender at that point.
Milan asked for information on the former Empoli man but so did Lazio, who are currently the most interested as they have been following Casale’s progress for the longest time. The Biancocelesti’s idea was to try to secure the player in view of June, and they will make a new attempt, but the Rossoneri could yet try a hijack.
