CM: Milan left impressed by Ajax star who shone for Ghana against Portugal

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan watched a Ghana star closely during their defeat to Portugal last night in the World Cup and they liked what they saw, a report claims.

The World Cup provides the ultimate showcase for the big names in football to demonstrate their talent alongside and against the elite, but it is also a chance for the stars of the future to announce themselves on the biggest stage of all.

Calciomercato.com writes that Mohammed Kudus stood out for Ghana in the 3-2 defeat against Portugal last night, continuing the trend after being one of Ajax’s best performers in the first part of the 2022-23 season.

The attacking midfielder – who can also play as a false nine or as a winger – has netted 10 goals in 20 games with Ajax so far this season, with 4 of them coming in the Champions League.

The report adds that the 22-year-old is being followed by Milan, who will have seen the tremendous impact that the dynamic Kudus had on the game.

  1. There are lots of talented players in africa. Milan should focus on this part of the world and forget about these fancy boys from other players
