AC Milan haven’t had much good luck on the injury front over the past couple of weeks, but the positive news is that Theo Hernandez will start against Juventus tonight.

The Frenchman has missed the away matches against Empoli and Chelsea due to a strain he sustained in the Napoli game prior to the break, and Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews) writes how the absence of Theo Hernandez made itself felt very much even for just two games.
The full-back was not only missed in the attacking phase – even if Ballo-Tourè managed to score the winning goal in Empoli – but above all in the defensive phase where he has grown a lot and has acquired more experience by his own admission. Especially against Chelsea, his replacement Ballo-Toure showed his limitations and struggles with the counter of the Blues.
There is not only the individual that is affected though, as Pioli will be able to rely on the pairing of Theo and Rafael Leao. The duo have caused havoc with their pace, dribbling, power and above all chemistry, as seen in the derby win at the beginning of September.
The Portuguese winger is the real danger for all Milan’s opponents and he also demonstrated it in London where he created the only real chance of the match. He came off before the end with one mission: to bottle up that energy and desire for redemption ahead of today’s game.
