AC Milan’s summer transfer window will be carried out with a cap on each individual incoming operation, Alfredo Pedulla reports.
Milan have recored profits in each of the last two financial years, but with no European football in 2025-26 – resulting in lost revenues that should be north of €80m – there is a need to keep an eye on the economic situation.

Milan’s mercato limitations
Indeed, the Rossoneri’s summer will be carried out with sustainable operations. Alfredo Pedullà of Sportitalia spoke in a YouTube video and he took stock of the budget issue available to the new sporting director Igli Tare.
To be more specific, there will be a limit on the transfer fee that can be spent per player, which – barring surprise exceptions – will be €30m as the base fee. Then, there will be a maximum salary of €3m net per player too.

There can be exceptions to the rule only in the case of sales. The Luka Modric (free transfer) and Granit Xhaka (low transfer fee) deals, if they were to be closed, would be accepted by the owners despite their age, given the approval of both Tare and Allegri.
Dusan Vlahovic meanwhile would be a €20-25m deal that would become sustainable if the player agreed to reduce his salary to €6-7m. This would be the rule-breaking deal mentioned above, for which authorisation from the owners would be necessary.

Which explains why the trails for Jashari and Ricci have gone cold. Both players are being valued at over 30M. So we can forget about them. So it seems like Guerra, Xhaka and Modric will actually by the incoming players for midfield. Leoni seems possible in defense. Then outgoings will determine further reinforcements/replacements on the flanks (both offense and defensive).
So the Wage limit is 3M with exception, that can reach higher.
So we become f****ing Brentford. No ambition, floating between 10th and relegation zone
So this is an article that, if true, is just standard practice – employee can spend X but if higher is needed it needs additional approval; same as any other business really, I’m sure every sporting director works the same way.
So just like last season.. And the one before…
“No europe” is just the excuse this time
You are spot on. Who would even notice the difference, it’s been like this for years. Absolutely no ambition whilst spouting false platitudes.
Not that I would be paying massive monies to keep Hernandez.
So now it is plain to see why players were leaving for nothing. 5 year deal, x 3, 30 million fee. 45 million euro limit per player. Nothing over 9 million euros over the span of the contract per year unless that investment can be recouped, Which is when the player is 24-25 years of age or younger when the deal takes place.
Which is why 7.5 x 5 for Theo is the asking price. He is saying good luck finding better than what I can offer at 37.5 million over the next five years. See if that extra 7.5 million you will spend on a new player will give you a better ROI than keeping me. That amount is high sure, put into account the back pay for when he was undercompensated, which is what they offered plus some to Leao by paying his fine to Lille plus his raise, the numbers he is asking is actually right in line with their spending budget and makes him less well paid than Rafa. It is a balanced and fair request. Leao doesn’t accomplish, nor does this team do what they did, without Theo by his side.
Your record defensive scorer should be paid as well as anyone in your team. Maybe a bit less, which in truth, is accurate.
You are making too much sense.
WE dont do that here. We hate just for the sake of hate.
‘Theo bad’ is what cool kids are saying now. So gotta get in line and do the ‘f Theo’ chant day in and day out.
Theo reached our club legends record?
Who the F cares? He had one bad season so, we gotta crucify him along with the rest of the squad no matter what. Cause the cool kids are doing it.
MUST
JOIN
THE
SHEEPLE.
Lol, with 30M and 3M/yr limits, what strong players can be signed out of this world? a joke, hahahaha,
So, kinda same rule to the directors M&M before
Every serious player will now use milan as a stepping stone, when previously it was a pride to wear the Milan shirt. We will keep selling our top players cos the players know the club is now sh*t
Nothing has changed! We won’t be able to sign top talent until Cardinale and his team of buffoons are no longer part of AC Milan.
In short there are €30 million and €3 million a season limits, except when there aren’t. Brilliant journalism.
Santi Gimenez base 30m euro are their highest purchase ( actually 30m euro + add on 5m euro). For salary they make exception for key player like modric and maybe xhaka ??? ( if he join) . If 30m euro basic fee are the rule ( not include add on) then we can skip rumour ricci, rovella, comuzzo, kean, retegui, calafiori, cambiasso, ashari, dusan. Leoni still affordable under 30m euro
Max 3m salary? No wonder they are selling their best player! I hope pulisic will leave this club as well! There is no sport ambition anymore just moneyball!!
