CM: Milan preparing to lose two goalkeepers – the plan including two targets

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are in the market for a new goalkeeper ahead of next summer and they have two profiles in sight, according to a report.

Calciomercato.com report that Milan are likely to bid farewell to both Ciprian Tatarusanu and Antonio Mirante at the end of the season, two experienced and highly professional goalkeepers who gave everything they could while remaining firmly behind Mike Maignan when fully fit.

That means there are two slots to fill, and one of the replacements will be the promotion of a goalkeeper from the Primavera, while the other should foresee the arrival of an Italian who will be useful for the UEFA squad lists.

One of the possible candidates is Pietro Terracciano of Fiorentina (32), who is currently on €300k net per season and has asked Fiorentina for €1m in order to extend his contract expiring next summer.

Milan could present their offer to him if he does not renew, but another player on the list is Marco Sportiello of Atalanta (30), and the good relations between his entourage and the Rossoneri could favour a possible operation.
