Tuttosport: Milan to meet Roma soon with double operation in mind – the details

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan will soon meet with Roma to discuss the potential of completing two operations this summer, according to a report.

Tuttosport (via MilanNews) writes this morning that there is no date set for the meeting, but soon Milan and Roma will meet to talk about Alessandro Florenzi’s future and his loan becoming permanent. The figure agree last summer for the option to buy was €4.5m, but the Rossoneri would like to try to get a discount from the Giallorossi.

The common will that this deal goes through could favour the negotiations between the two clubs and after some physical problems (two knee operations), Florenzi made some decisive contributions as Milan won their 19th Scudetto.

The meeting to talk about Florenzi will also serve as a chance to officially ask Roma about Nicolò Zaniolo. It will not be an easy deal for the Rossoneri as the very high demands from the capital club of around €60m is a huge hurdle.

There is interest from Juventus too, but the hope of Milan is that the asking price will decrease and that perhaps Roma will open up to the inclusion of some counterparts in the deal.
