CM: Milan’s proposed meeting with Leao’s father did not go ahead on Tuesday

The proposed meeting between AC Milan’s hierarchy and Rafael Leao’s father did not take place on Tuesday for reasons that are so far unclear, a report claims.

As has been reported by Calciomercato.com, little progress appears to have been made on Tuesday in regard to Leao’s proposed new contract.

There was supposed to be a meeting with the father of the Portuguese star at Casa Milan but it did not go ahead. The parties will have to reschedule for a new date as Milan want to have the situation resolved before the 2022 Qatar World Cup.

His contract is set to expire in June 2024 which means that the Rossoneri are at risk of losing him for a fee that does not represent his value. He is also now underpaid for the quality that he is showing on the pitch.

The meeting with the father would not have been decisive by any means, but it would have helped to discuss some details.

  1. Leao always manages to confuse me. His body parts seem to be hanging by a thread and move in an uncoordinated manner. He is absent from a match for a good 30 minutes but then appears from nowhere to score a goal. He next dribbles 4 opponents and then slips or passes the ball to an opponent or kicks the ball among the spectators …

A player who truly confuses you ….
