Sky: Milan told to wait by Midtjylland in pursuit of Onyedika – the reason

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are still in negotiations with FC Midtjylland over the signing of Raphael Onyedika but have been told they must be patient, a report claims.

It is no secret that Milan are looking to sign a new midfielder and over the past few days it has become apparent through virtually every major source that the management are pursuing Onyedika, who is seen as the ideal replacement for Franck Kessie.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio during Calciomercato L’Originale on Sky (via MilanNews), the Rossoneri are still seeking an agreement with Midtjylland for the purchase of Onyedika but it seems it will not happen quickly.

That is because the Danish club are currently searching for a new head coach and therefore before they agree to selling Onyedika to the Rossoneri, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara will have to wait for the approval from the new coach, who has not yet been appointed.
