AC Milan are interested in signing Japhet Tanganga from Spurs but face competition from two clubs, according to a report.
The latest from The Athletic stakes that newly-promoted Bournemouth are in talks with Tottenham over a move for Tanganga, with both a loan deal and permanent transfer being discussed by the two clubs.
However, the report makes it clear that there is interest from abroad in the 23-year-old and more specifically from Italy, where Milan and Napoli are ‘monitoring the player’.
Tanganga made 19 appearances in all competitions last season but suffered a nee injury in January that ended his season early, whereas now there is Cristian Romero, Eric Dier and Ben Davies ahead of him in the ranking, as well as Davinson Sanchez, Joe Rodon and even potential new signing Clement Lenglet too.
Spurs are looking to thin out their squad by selling fringe players to also raise funds for the incomings needed to back Antonio Conte and his plans.
