While there is a lot of attention on what AC Milan will do in attack and how they will replace Franck Kessie, there will also be some movements in defence this summer.
As reported by the newspaper Tuttosport (via MilanNews), the management are on the lookout for a new centre-back and a new left-back and they already have two names in mind, with one of them already well known: Sven Botman.
In the next few days the Rossoneri should reopen talks with the French club, having remained in contact with the player’s agents in the meantime. Botman has already expressed his desire to change teams this summer and would be delighted to join Milan.
The signing of Fode Ballo-Touré meanwhile did not give the hoped-for results and a farewell from the Senegal international at the end of the season cannot be ruled out. The Rossoneri scouts like the young Fabiano Parisi of Empoli as his replacement, a talent with ample room for growth, but other profiles are also being watched.
Botman-Kalulu-Tomor-Kjaer. Play three of them together in a 3-5-2 formation. No need to buy another LB and that would solve the RW issue (partially) as well.
*Tomori
Kjaer is going to be 33 and questionable what kind of form he will be in…..and what do you propose for Theo ?
