Tuttosport: Milan hold new talks over €30m Botman deal – he remains the No.1 target

By Oliver Fisher -

The news regarding Sven Botman and a possible move to AC Milan has been quieter in the past couple of weeks, but now an update has arrived.

As reported by the newspaper Tuttosport (via MilanNews), there were new talks between the Rossoneri management and the agents of the Dutch centre-back on Monday as Milan look to set up an agreement before the summer window opens.

The 22-year-old has a valuation of around €30m and he is the Rossoneri’s first choice to come in and bolster the centre-back department, with another player of quality needed in that area given that Alessio Romagnoli’s contract expires at the end of the season.

If Botman were to arrive then it would mean Milan are able to call upon him as well as Fikayo Tomori, Pierre Kalulu, Matteo Gabbia and Simon Kjaer when he returns from his injury, which is certainly not bad depth to have.
