Tuttosport: Milan consider Newcastle winger as alternative to Roma man

By Oliver Fisher -

Allan Saint-Maximin has emerged as a potential alternative to Nicolo Zaniolo for AC Milan, according to a report.

This morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via PianetaMilan) reports that Saint-Maximin is being looked at by Milan as he is no longer finding playing time with Newcastle United as he did in the past due to Joelinton’s emergence as one of their most important players.

Saint-Maximin is currently under contract with the Premier League club until 30 June 2026 but he has just four starts in the league this season and just 480 minutes in the competition, plus four EFL Cup appearances.

His personal situation together with Newcastle’s ambitious project could lead to a sale of Saint-Maximin in January and Milan could go for him if they can’t get their hands on Nicolò Zaniolo, as per the paper.

Milan are admirers of the French winger because he is good at beating his man, creating numerical superiority on the counter-attack, crossing, registering assists and also scoring, as well as being good with both feet. He could also arrive on loan with the option to buy.

Well then, what are we waiting for?!!! Zaniolo can’t do any of the mentioned things.

I dream of a day where Milan has someone on the right flank who can actually cross the ball to another Milan-player. Haven’t seen those since Suso left and even then he only hit his mark once a month (at best).

  2. Does anyone seriously believe we will spend the money to sign St Max??? LOL. Ya right. Redbird are Elliot. Scudetto or not doesn’t matter we aren’t spending
