AC Milan are having a disastrous season and are on course for their lowest finish in years, but the support remains loyal regardless.
Calcio e Finanza have published a report about attendances so far in Serie A in 2024-25, starting with the positive news that the league is maintaining a rather high average of 30,619 spectators for each match, with a stadium occupancy rate of 91.57%. Last year, it was 83%.
Milan are at 999,064 total fans across 14 games despite the protests that took place in the last matches, an average of 71,362 spectators per game, higher than Inter’s 70,059. The podium closes with Roma, who in their home games are just under 62k.
Also in the top five are Napoli and Lazio, with just over 50k and just under 32k spectators per home game on average. One particular case worth mentioning is Genoa, who played behind closed doors against Juventus as punishment for fan clashes before the Derby della Lanterna in the Coppa Italia.
In terms of percentage of capacity filled, Cagliari returned to the top a week ago after the packed house against Juventus, overtaking the Bianconeri. The Sardinians now exceed 98% compared to the 97.33% of Como who moved into second place. Juventus are third at 97%, with Milan sixth on 94%.
The news that Milan top Serie A for average attendance is remarkable considering how poor results have been and the climate of protest that surrounds the club.
People get addiction
not for long LOL.
Milan fans deserve so much better. They really love the team and stick with them through so much shit…
I was about to say the same.
Next season will be a drastic change especially with no qualify for CL.
This is not good news. Fans should walk away and not visit stadium. Otherwise nothing will change from the board and we keep sinking
I don’t see it lasting long with the turmoil currently
