Tuttosport: Milan offered 25-year-old Marseille defender by intermediaries – the response

By Oliver Fisher -

A number of different players are being offered to AC Milan with agents and intermediaries aware of the hunt for a new defender, and a Marseille centre-back has reportedly been offered.

This morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) writes how in recent weeks there have been several players who have been proposed to the Milan management and they are still flooding in too given Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are yet to settle on a profile.

Duje Caleta-Car has been offered to the Rossoneri in the last few hours, as the 25-year-old Croatian of Olympique Marseille might like to try a new experience outside of France, but this name does not seem to tempt the Milan hierarchy too much.

Ćaleta-Car has made 10 league appearances for the Ligue 1 club this season and is a member of the Croatia national team, having been in the squad which ended as runners-up to France in the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

  1. No way this is true. Milan can get kamara, who can play midfield and cb for a low price but they still considering it. So why they would pay 25m for this guy?

  2. These transfer “stories” are such BS. Milan is shopping for alternatives if Romagnoli doesn’t resign. Besides why would Milan pay 25M for a player the same age and not as good when Romagnoli is willing to half his pay (reportedly).
