Reports: ‘Revolution continues’ – Milan open to Tomori sale as Tottenham submit offer

Fikayo Tomori was heading towards an exit from AC Milan as the mercato opened, but the arrival of Sergio Conceicao halted that. Now, the possibility has opened once again.

Things with Milan are never straightforward, and the Tomori saga has proved that once again. Since the arrival of Conceicao, the Englishman solidified his position at the back, and the Rossoneri seemed effectively closed off to his potential departure.

However, there have been reports in the past 24 hours which may suggest that the defender is not guaranteed for next week.

Aston Villa initially had a bid rejected yesterday, a loan offer with a conditional buy clause inserted, but Tottenham Hotspur had also sought information about a deal and in the past hour, the club have made a bid to sign the defender, according to Calciomercato.com.

The report states that the Diavolo are ‘not closed off’ to his departure, despite there only being a few days left of the mercato. Of course, if he were to depart, another player would have to arrive very quickly, in fact, in ‘record time’.

Furthermore, Gianluigi Longari writes that a deal would have to exceed €25 million, but the defender has not yet given the move the green light. Contacts are continuing to take place and likely will do ‘even after the derby’.

  1. This means they are preparing for new seasons. All sales are going to happen in summer 2025, because money Milan will need for next season. They understand team have very small chances to reach UCL so sale is happening right now !!!

    1. So the so called management knew they have few days left on the mercato yet no alternatives to the backline and they still want to sell out?

      Fingers crossed
      Forza Milan ❤️🖤💯

  2. He was the starting CB for 4 seasons when Milan finished in the top 2 in 3 seasons.

Since he (and Calabria) have been dropped Milan have dropped to 7th.

And it’s apparently their fault…..even though they’ve barely played because…..they were dropped…..(and injured).

And people on here are absolutely convinced the players who have mostly played during Milan’s demise are better.

    1. No, he does not have to play any minutes to be hated. People do not like him as a person. End of story. Now get out of here and go win balon d’or as a CB.

      1. Hate him?

        A) He plays for the club that these people allegedly support.

        B) He was (literally) central to only the third Scudetto win this season.

        C) I’m really not clear what he’s done to be ‘hated’ (and normally hatred is reserved for opposition players).

        D) Barely playing makes it difficult for a player to reach their top form.

        E) The players who have replaced him have taken the club from 2nd to 7th.

And it’s people like you who have supported the club’s fall to 7th with your general idiocy.

    2. This is all speculation. Last week Tomori was untouchable and now he’s allowed to leave. These transfer rumors have more drama than a crappy reality show. The only way this happens is if Tomori wants out and Silva is line up for purchase.

I don’t know most here think the newer players are better. People have called for better players but management has not delivered that. I’d say Reijnders and Fofona are not better than Tonali or Kessie and our midfield is what is making our backline suffer. Bennacer is coming off of a major injury so he still needs time for me to make a decision on his quality. The only player I’d say was worth the money is Pulisic. Selling Tonali was huge mistake, we should have just increased his wages and added a player here or there. The total rebuild year after year is making us look like United and Chelsea but those clubs actually have money.

    1. That’s the dead wood who actually won things and delivered top 4 finishes.

And the new wood who have dragged the club downwards but are oh so popular.

      1. You keep glossing over that 5th place finish we got that only became 4th after a Juventus penalty.

Also through all but the scudetto year we continued to have a porous defence. That was offset just enough by our attack.

Tomori has always had a poor team attitude.
The difference in the scudetto year was that a rarely fit Kalulu suddenly nailed down a CB spot during an injury crisis.
Plus Tonali and Kessie in midfield.

Tomori has always had a poor team attitude.
Totally abused most reserve keepers and shot their confidence.

        Plus penaltygate.
Trying to give soft goal stat to his English mate instead of putting the team first.
Fonseca was right to drop him in my opinion.

  3. Tottenham have a major injury crisis. Plau are trying to compete in multiple cups as their only chance to get a trophy and qualify for Europe next year. Either by winning the Europa or FA cup.

They are desperate for reinforcements and Tomori fits their game plan.
If there is a good offer then we should take it in my opinion.
