The Italian papers are focusing on what looks more and more like being a Milan derby for the Scudetto after both the Rossoneri and Nerazzurri won yesterday.

Milan began the day of Serie A action by running out comfortable 3-0 winners against Venezia thanks to goals from Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Theo Hernandez (2), while Milan Skriniar netted the winner for Inter against Lazio as they emerged 2-1 victors at San Siro.

La Gazzetta dello Sport: “The Scudetto Derby continues. Milan are still there. Three goals against Venezia, they remain a point behind. Super Theo, Tonali the extra man, Ibra like Totti and Giggs: 23 years of goals. Pioli is the top man of this team.”

Corriere dello Sport: “Theo brace in Venice (3-0), Pioli party: ‘Milan more mature’. The teams in the running for the Scudetto and Champions League placed all win.”

Tuttosport: “Ibra + Theo: TurboMilan. A show in Venice, captain Hernandez (brace): ‘Renewal is close’.”
