Journalist claims Milan want permanent deal for Barcelona man but will negotiate fee

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are looking to turn the loan deal for Sergino Dest into a permanent one but they wish to negotiate the fee with Barcelona, a report claims.

Dest joined Milan on deadline day of the summer window after Alessandro Florenzi went down with an injury that would keep him out for months, and so far the USA international has been played in a number of different positions from full-back to wing-back and even as a winger, earning more playing time as the weeks have gone on.

According to what is being reported by the well-regarded Barcelona reporter Achraf Ben Ayad (via Twitter), Milan want to keep dest but they wish to renegotiate the terms they agreed with Barca during the summer window.

The deal that was agreed between the Rossoneri and the Blaugrana foresees a permanent move costing €20m, which would obviously represent a sizeable investment for a player that has only been a back-up this season.
