This morning, the footballing world was shocked by the news of Andre Silva and Diogo Jota’s passing. Today, a number of rememberance posts have been made by AC Milan players.
Today’s news acts as a reminder of how short life really is. It is difficult to truly find the words to summarise what the passing of Jota and Silva has done to the wider footballing community. Let alone those who shared a pitch, or even a dressing room with them.

As a result, several players have posted messages in support of his family, as can be seen below.
Rafael Leao: 🖤 Rest in peace brother 🙏🏾🙏🏾

Theo Hernandez: D.E.P 🙏🥹🕊️

Fikayo Tomori: Lost for words, RIP 💔😢🕊️

Strahinja Pavlovic: 🙏

Ismael Bennacer: Great player, gone way too soon. May his soul rest in peace.

May Diogo and Andre both rest peacefully.

R.I.P
Not everyone would have known how Jota passed, including a short mention of the cause of death would have sufficed.
Moreover, these are condolence messages and not “remembrance posts”.
R.I.P to him, really sad news.
lol, bredda these are 100% remembrance posts. none of them offered condolences to friends or family, u can’t offer condolences to a deceased person. every single one of them said Rest In Peace either in English or another language.
Who cares how he passed. Why do you care?
What an ignorant comment. “They should tell me how they died because me knowing is more important than the pain everyone is in.”
Grow up.
Thats the problem. Its not emotional for you. You are the definition of a gen z loser.
What have you invented? Even your name is taken from the Bible from a man who actually accomplished something.
Get a life. Must be mad you cant turn this post into something to do with Maldini.
Car accident
Exactly my point, this would have given the article more context.
I know Ben Dixon understands, just this philandering 1899 trying to start a baseless argument as always.
