Report claims Milan are still a potential suitor for winger despite €53.6m Chelsea move

Raheem Sterling’s start to life at Chelsea has not gone the way he would have hoped and AC Milan are keeping an eye on his situation ahead of the summer, a report claims.

According to a report from GiveMeSport, Sterling has made it clear for the moment that he not looking to secure a move away from Chelsea but things could well change between now and the season if his playing time is affected by the big-money signings the Blues have made.

One potential suitor could be Milan as per the source, given the Rossoneri management ‘looked into a potential deal’ when he was leaving Manchester City and could have to search for a replacement for Rafael Leao if he has not renewed by June.

Sterling returned to west London – the area he was born and raised – in the last summer transfer window for £47.5million, which is around €53.6m. He is the club’s leading scorer on six goals in all competitions, but he continues to be linked with a move away as Arsenal have also been credited with interest.

  1. What report? There is no sense in this whatsoever. His salary demand would be far more than what Leao wants. He’s old, pretty soon will pass his prime, needs adaptation, and his transfer fee.

  2. If you can get him for 5 millions and if he agree to play for 3 m per year, than no problem,he fits cardinale demands 🤣🤣🤣
