CM: Three players involved in red hot market axis between Chelsea and Milan

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan and Chelsea will do battle on the pitch tomorrow night in London, but the clubs could also reportedly do business in the transfer market soon too.

Calciomercato.com report that the Rossoneri and the Blues will effectively be enemies on the field at Stamford Bridge but are more like friends away from it because the American ownerships of the two clubs know, respect and value each other.

This could assist some future business in the transfer market, starting from the main headline which is that Chelsea really like Rafael Leão and they offered €90m for the Portuguese winger without receiving any opening from Milan. However, the potential signing of Christopher Nkunku from RB Leipzig might end their pursuit.

There are two profiles of interest to Milan that could leave west London: Christian Pulisic and Trevoh Chalobah and they could be good fits for Stefano Pioli. Last summer there was also a chat about Callum Hudson-Odoi, who is now on loan at Bayer Leverkusen.
