MN: Milan still pushing for Lille star but have to make two evaluations – the latest

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are still working on agreeing a deal for Renato Sanches but they are finding things quite difficult, a report has suggested.

MilanNews have confirmed that Milan are trying to make a breakthrough in talks over the Portuguese midfielder but there is still no economic agreement with the player and his agent due to their high demands.

This certainly dents the Rossoneri’s chances of getting a full agreement wrapped up quickly and in the meantime other teams such as Juventus have joined the race, as well as some sides in the Premier League.

Milan want Sanches for the 2021-22 season but must accelerate and quickly, because making a signing that assures a big leap in quality in the midfield is always unlikely to be easy.

However, the report adds that in the evaluations that the club are making there are also considerations on the physical and athletic aspect given the 24-year-old often sustains muscle problems and it is an aspect that cannot be underestimated.
