Mundo Deportivo: Milan readying €10m bid to beat Juventus and Atalanta to Parma star

By Oliver Fisher -

After a past with Barcelona and Manchester City, Adrian Bernabe is now forging his own path at Parma and it could lead him back to a top club.

Mundo Deportivo recall how Bernabe spent time in the academies of both RCD Espanyol and La Masia of Barcelona before making his way from Spain to Manchester City (like Brahim Diaz did), but he was released and ended up at Parma.

After not finding much playing time initially, he has exploded in the last two weeks with two beautifully taken braces in the victories against Cosenza (1-3) and Como (4-3). He ended up being a mid-season replacement for Enzo Maresca and will continue fighting for a play-off spot in Serie B with Parma, but the noises of the mercato are growing louder.

Parma cannot rule out accepting any of the offers that are already arriving to fix their financial situation, especially given that Bernabe arrived on a free so would be a pure capital gain, with Juventus and Atalanta also keen.

The former Spain U17 international – who is knocking on the door of the U21 national team – has a contract until 2024, and there is talk Milan are willing to pay €10m as per the report.
