The Marco Asensio to AC Milan links have fired up once again as there are now question marks about his future at Real Madrid, a report claims.
Calciomercato.com report that the attacking midfielder displayed an angry reaction during yesterday’s game against Real Mallorca when Carlo Ancelotti decided not to send him on as a substitute despite the fact he had warming up for several minutes.
It comes after the same source stated last week that Asensio is still on Milan’s radar as they look to strengthen their attacking department. Asensio was linked heavily in the summer but in the end decided to remain at Real Madrid.
However, he will not renew his contract expiring in 2023, which therefore means he is accepting it will be a final campaign in the Spanish capital before he moves on and the Milan management are keen on him because of his quality, experience and versatility.
I like his longshoot but his asking salary more than 6m euro nett are too much for bench warmer like him
true
Plus Mendes is representative
If he lowers his salary demands to 4 mil then he is welcomed, otherwise, Good luck to him in Arsenal.
He hasn’t achieved much to demand 6,7 mil a season.
Looked promising when he first burst on scene but after he hurt his knee he has been average. It’s obvious that Carletto doesn’t rate him high either
Milan already have an agreement with noalang BEhind closed doors, and lang is waiting patiently, so calm down.
Of he’d accept €4m, perhaps we could try in January for €10m. Maybe Madrid will accept cuz it’s clear they don’t need him.
@kossy Lang is young and fairly affordable (am reading €18mn) but I thought he was naturally LWF.
Is he as effective on the right? It’s an important distinction as Pioli has shown great reluctance to play any winger on the right side if he doesn’t think they’re an absolute natural there (see Rebic, Hauge etc)
Lang I think worth taking a chance on but I don’t think Pioli will see him as starter RW, which is an area we can obvious improve.
