AC Milan remain in contact with Sassuolo over the potential signing of Domenico Berardi in the summer, according to a report.
This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via PianetaMilan) confirms that Berardi is a concrete target for Milan ahead of the summer mercato because Stefano Pioli wants a new right winger for his 4-2-3-1, one who can guarantee more quality, more goals and more assists than Alexis Saelemaekers and Junior Messias.
In order to move the attack up a level an improvement is needed on that flank and the paper adds that Berardi is seen as the ideal profile given that he has 14 goals and 15 assists in 29 league matches so far this season for the Neroverdi.
He is having his best season so far under head coach Dionisi and Milan are observing things closely, all while maintaining contact with the Emilian club regarding their captain ahead of a potential bid.

Very overpriced and slow for a winger. For 35mil we could get Antony from Ajax. Much younger and much better. Berardi isn’t worth more than 18-20mil.
Over price and 28 years old next season . Sassoulo asking price 30-35m euro , shop in sassoulo mart always overprice. He is not versatile too . His speed slow like Suso , that will make AC Milan weak on launch counter attack

Don’t make it look like he didn’t have a good game because ppl on this site didn’t watch the game and have a bad sentiment towards Berardi. The layoff to Raspidori was class. If you watched the game he was super lively with lots of chance creation in the first half. Yes he fizzled in the second but he assisted and could have assisted even more had ppl not converted. And I’m not even a Berardi fan but if he can be bought at 15-20 mil I’d say take it assuming we’re still under Elliot. It’s a massive upgrade to Salad and mesias if u want to real with yourself.
