Report: Milan and Roma big admirers of Nantes playmaker with 12 goals this season

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are interested in signing FC Nantes star Ludovic Blas this summer along with a Serie A rival, according to a journalist in France.

Nantes reported Emmanuel Merceron is reporting that Blas is popular in Italy with Milan and Roma both keen on landing him. The Giallorossi are expected to lose Jordan Veretout so they are in the market for a quality replacement, but the two Italian sides ‘are among the many contenders’.

The 24-year-old has been playing mostly as a playmaker so far this season for the Ligue 1 club but he has also players on the right and in more of a box-to-box midfield role, according to Transfermarkt.

In 32 appearances across all competitions for Nantes this season he has racked up an impressive 12 goals and 2 assists. The Rossoneri are likely to be in the market for a versatile forwards who guarantees more end product than the likes of Brahim Diaz, Alexis Saelemaekers and Junior Messias have this season.

  1. He is worth 15 million blas is a top RW and AM so if Milan want cheap he is 15 million cheaper then berardi who I think blas still has time to grow and possibly become better then the Italian winger.

  2. The only one of his matches that I’ve seen this season was the one against PSG when Nantes destroyed them, specially in the first half, and I remember he played very, very good.

  3. He’s a talented AM /RW (just like Faivre) who can still improve and become world class, but the Milan management cannot afford to him.

He’s too expensive for 15million, except we try him out first with an option to buy….lol. Sadly, that’s the Milan way.
