CM: Milan and Roma offered chance to sign PSG midfielder – the Rossoneri’s reponse

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan and Roma have been offered the chance to sign Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Georgino Wijnaldum, a report has claimed.

According to Calciomercato.com, Wijnaldum was offered to Milan and Roma in recent days but only the Giallorossi are reflecting on the feasibility of the operation given that Jose Mourinho has wanted to coach him for a while.

The former Liverpool man has been excluded from the squad for PSG’s preseason tour and could arrive on loan with option to buy set at €20m plus half of his €8m net salary covered by the Ligue 1 champions.

While the Rossoneri do not seem to be interested in the 31-year-old despite their pursuit of a new midfielder, Mourinho gave his approval and Roma are exploring a potential deal, while trying to find a way of capitalising on the Growth Decree tax relief scheme, which requires a guaranteed stay in Italy of two years or more.

  1. Nah let that mercenary stay on PSG bench. Left Liverpool, was all agreed to sign for Barcelona, just to sign for PSG because they offered more money.
Renato Sanches should learn from Wijnaldum situation

    1. I agree 100% no room for players like that on this project. Maldini has made that clear from the start. We won the scudetto because of the spirit and will of champions to fight for the shirt and be part of something greater than themselves.
