AC Milan have been one of the most active clubs in Serie A so far this summer, but their net spend actually ranks among the lowest.
MilanNews reports that the imminent arrival of Koni De Winter for €18m plus bonuses will push Milan into the top three clubs in Serie A in terms of spending. This figure is in addition to €34m for Ardon Jashari, €23m for Samuele Ricci, and €17m for Pervis Estupinan. For a total of €92m.

Only Juventus with €118m and Como, with €104m have spent more on signings in the current mercato. Napoli have not surpassed them, at least for now: the Partenopei are currently at €89m, but further reinforcements for Antonio Conte are expected which could push them higher.
This figure for Milan is set to increase with the arrival of a right-back, and if the deal to bring Zachary Athekame goes through, it would reach at least €10m. Then there is the centre-forward: if it were indeed Rasmus Hojlund, we’d be talking about a loan deal worth €5-6m.
However, Milan have made a lot on sales too. With €38m to be added for the official sale of Malick Thiaw to Newcastle United, the total is now €148m in fixed fees. More specifically: €55m for Tijjani Reijnders, €25m for Theo Hernandez and €14.3m for Pierre Kalulu.
Then there are the other deals, like €9m for Emerson Royal, €3.5m for Marco Pellegrino, €1m for the loan of Tommaso Pobega, €1m for Marco Sportiello, €1m for the loan of Warren Bondo and Filippo Terracciano. The exact total: €147.8 million earned, the highest in the league.
In terms of net spend, the Rossoneri are therefore in the negative at €55.8m (they have spent less than earnings). Currently, only Bologna in Serie A have a lower net spend (around €61m in the red).

my friend , you dont seem to understand that profit will go as serie a we will be playing 1 match a week, we dont need many players, rather spend that money and keep good money into signing talents and senior players that have experience then spend all our money on expensive players that arent going to play champions league, we will have an advantage this serie a with less matches so im not sure why you always whine about the owners, they are doing good this mercato

The best “transfer” in Serie A this summer is Pio Esposito, who came in for free.
I thinks it’s €145.8m. Thiaw was sold for €36m fixed fee. Also we got €1m loan for Morata and not €500k each for Bondo and Terracciano.

Bottom line the team is suited better this year than last year. Once the games begin the results will speak volumes about whether or not this mercato was successful. When we qualify for CL and become a destination of choice for proven players we will remember this year as the cornerstone to the second and third star on the jersey.
