AC Milan have made contact over a potential deal for Bayer Leverkusen defender Piero Hincapie, according to a report from Spain.
Marcos Duran of Diario AS is reporting that both Milan and Tottenham have opened discussions over the possibility of signing the Ecuador international defender Hincapié during the summer transfer window.
However, it will not be an easy pursuit for any interested club as the Bundesliga side are in talks with the 20-year-old over the improvement of his contract.
One things is set in the mind of Hincapie: he wants to play Champions League next season which each of Leverkusen, Milan and Spurs can offer to him, but the market is just beginning and there could be twists regarding his renewal.
Hincapie signed for Leverkusen from Talleres in the summer of 2021 and made a very quick impact in Germany, making 33 appearances for Bayer in his first campaign across the Bundesliga and the Europa League.
