AC Milan are continuing to keep their options open in their hunt for a new centre-back and they are not yet out of the Gleison Bremer race, a report claims.
This morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) reports that Tottenham are ‘threatening’ Inter and Milan’s pursuit of Bremer, with offers of €30-40m sought for the Brazilian defender. Inter remain in the lead having got the player’s approval, but the Rossoneri and Spurs are in the running.
Milan’s first choice target is Sven Botman but they have not yet managed to close that operation and as such they are keeping the Bremer track warm as an alternative who knows the league and has shown his quality.
Antonio Conte and Fabio Paratici at Spurs want Alessandro Bastoni of Inter but they too have moved for Bremer, with the ex-Inter boss determined to bolster the centre-back department ahead of a return to the Champions League.
