GdS: The new stadium is a priority for RedBird followed by Maldini’s Milan renewal

Moving to a new stadium is a priority for new AC Milan owners RedBird Capital Partners and it is followed by Paolo Maldini’s renewal, a report claims.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the new Milan owners will focus a lot of their efforts on either building the new San Siro stadium or moving the club to another part of the city where a new ground can be built sooner.

Inter and Milan have been attempting to build a new stadium on the current site at San Siro for many years but various bureaucratic processes have delayed the project significantly.

It seems that RedBird wish to address the issue very quickly and Gerry Cardinale has already spoken to the mayor of Sesto San Giovanni, an area of Milan that could be used for a stadium.

Their next priority should be easier to address which is the contract renewal of technical director Paolo Maldini.
