AC Milan are still interested in the possibility of signing Barcelona defender Emerson Royal in the summer, according to reports.
The Rossoneri were heavily linked with a move for Emerson during the summer window when it appeared the club were in the market for a new right-back, but he ended up remaining on loan at Real Betis where he will remain until the end of this season.
MilanNews – who cite several Spanish sources – claim that Milan are still observing the full-back, confirming that last summer the Rossoneri had talks with Barcelona to understand what margins there were for a deal to take place.
The Brazilian is performing well at Betis this season as well having made 18 LaLiga appearances and amassed two assists. If Diogo Dalot is not redeemed, Emerson could be the right reinforcement in the role of right-back for next season, the report adds. For the latest on Dalot, click here.
