Longo: Milan in talks with entourage of defender as Spurs open to loan formula

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are in talks with Tottenham Hotspur over the signing of Japhet Tanganga and they have secured an important opening, a report claims.

It is no secret that Milan are in the market for a new centre-back having missed out on Sven Botman and the general consensus is that they will now look for a low-cost deal compared to what the Dutchman would have been in order to allocate more funds to the attack and midfield.

Spurs centre-back Japhet Tanganga is the name being most frequently linked at the moment, and Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com has provided an important update on the status of negotiations.

He claims that Tottenham have opened to the formula of a loan with option to buy for Tanganga, and contacts between the Rossoneri and the entourage of the Englishman took place today. The 23-year-old has refused Bournemouth and they have now turned to Axel Tuanzebe instead.

  1. Oh wow….. so bad.. why???… kalulu is already miles ahead of this guy. Guy is so dumb, Kalulu (who he will try to replace) is a kid but has the mind of a seasoned pro, composed, smart, etc. Tanganga is not milan class sorry but please stay away.

  2. This is the realistic option we can get. Young, available on loan , dont mind to be rotation. With loan CB ,we can focus our budget on CDK and new DMF
