AC Milan are looking to sign a new striker this summer, and another source has linked Manchester United’s Rasmus Hojlund.
In a press conference to journalists at Casa Milan, Milan’s sporting director Tare confirmed that the club are looking for a new centre-forward, one with similar characteristics to Olivier Giroud.

“We are evaluating both in Italy and outside Italy: it is a question of characteristics and for our team’s game it is fundamental,” he said.
“He must be a player with completely different characteristics to those of Gimenez who is not a centre-forward like Giroud: we must be good at completing these two things together.”
Countless names have already been linked, from Dusan Vlahovic and Victor Boniface to Nicolas Jackson and Tolu Arokodare. However, none feel like they have ever been close to arriving.

Gianluca Di Marzio confirmed on Sky late last night (and on his website) that Milan are on the hunt for a striker and the latest idea comes from the Premier League. The goal is to give Massimiliano Allegri a reinforcement as quickly as possible, so various deals are being surveyed.
In the last few hours, an enquiry was conducted for Rasmus Hojlund to understand the feasibility of the operation. With United believed to be closing in on Bryan Mbeumo, it is possible the Dane could find himself surplus to requirements.
I think you put your trust in a striker and buy one. I don’t think any loanee fights properly not knowing where they’ll be the following season or get disenchanted halfway through. Also o don’t get that if we’re looking for single digit strikers we just don’t reintergrate columbo
No no no. Gimenez and Hojlund are one touch finishers who are useless in everything else. If they dont score they offer nothing else. We need someone else who can hold up the ball and link play. Not someone with limited touch and control

Holjund is very limited and not worth it.
It is reported that the management agreed to sell pobega for 8m, they should focus on selling others like RLC, Emerson Royal, f.terraciano, musah, bennacer….
Makes no sense looking at Holjund when we’ve got Camarda & Colombo and just let Jovic go.
Why always giroud i dont understand, as if he scored 30+ goals, we need aguero type of stricker, or shevchenko, who are pacey, skillfull, good finisher, somebody from south america, at least guarantee 20+ goals a season. Giroud is good tho, but we should aim even higher.

Tare is just a waste of resources. He is just good for Lazio kind of clubs and Lazio later fired him. So he is just incompetent

Hojlund and Mbuemo play completely different spots in the front-line normally… but Man Utd doing Man Utd things and buying two support guys (Mbuemo and Cunha) who will trip over each other.
I would assume they’d want to keep the two no9s, but maybe they think Zirkzee will do better at making space for the others?

he’s free, proven scorer, full exp, can play in all front, bit fast & home-grown player,
i think sign him for a season w/ option for next just like Modric is good enough
