Milan target reveals he is inspired by Ibrahimovic but ‘always chooses Juve when playing FIFA’

Lorenzo Lucca is one of the most interesting talents in circulation at the moment, with the young Italian striker impressing a lot this season for Pisa in Serie B.

The 21-year-old talent has scored 6 goals in 7 Serie B appearances so far this season, attracting a lot of interest from Serie A clubs, including Milan, who are reportedly plotting a move already for January, leaving the player on loan at Pisa until the end of the season.

Lucca’s amazing form has also caught the attention of the U21 national team manager Paolo Nicolato, who called him up for the first time in September and gave him his debut against Montenegro, with Lucca scoring his first goal for the team against Sweden this week.

In the context of this positive moment, the Pisa star spoke to Gazzetta dello Sport (via milanlive.it) about his childhood, his football idols as well as who he chooses to play for when playing FIFA.

“As a child, I was short and played as a winger, I didn’t steal the eye. I grew up all of a sudden and had back problems. I played in a Turin football school linked to Milan and was immediately signed by Torino,” he said.

“I am inspired by Ibrahimovic. He is the greatest ever. I hope to imitate him. I try to study and replicate him. Which team do I choose when playing FIFA? I must admit that it’s always Juventus.

“They tell me that Mancini is following, but there is no danger that I will go crazy. I am aware of having to work and improve, but I do not want to act a s a phenomenon nor do I want to exaggerate,” Lucca concluded.
