AC Milan forward target Armando Broja seems to have ruled himself out of a move to the Rossoneri by talking positively about renewing his current deal with Chelsea.
Speaking during a press conference ahead of the Champions League clash between Chelsea and Dinamo Zagreb (via Calciomercato.com), the Albanian forward was very honest when asked about his long-term future.
The player has been linked with a move to Milan who will soon need a younger striker and other clubs have also shown a serious interest.
Now though, he seems to be intent on signing a new deal and staying at the club that he clearly has a lot of admiration for.
When asked about a long-term deal he said: “I see it as a massive opportunity for me and my family. This is my boyhood club. I want to keep trying to improve as a person and player. There are not many better clubs to learn from than Chelsea,” he said.
It seems it would take a serious change in stance from Chelsea for Broja not to sign a new deal now and end up playing for Milan.
If he were to leave, he wouldn’t be short of suitors.
Good Colombo and Lazetic are better than him
Good we don’t need another potential or promise. What we need is a concrete option. Proven option.
