CM: Milan close to agreeing terms with De Ketelaere – possible exchange with Club Brugge

AC Milan are gaining confidence that they will win the race to sign Charles De Ketelaere from Club Brugge and beat the competition, a report claims.

According to Calciomercato.com, De Ketelaere and Milan have found an agreement in principle over a five-year deal – therefore until 2027 – and the negotiation with the player is in the final details.

After that it will be time to close the operation with Club Brugge who are asking for €30m to sell the playmaker. Emil Roback and Andreas Jungdal – striker and goalkeeper from the Primavera respectively – could be included in the operation.

The Belgian side do not seem willing to lower their demands, but finding an agreement with the player is certainly notable progress. Moreover, it seemed as though Brugge were planning for life without De Ketelaere as they looked set to buy Muriqi from Lazio for €11m, but that has now broken down which could slow the exit of Charles.
