AC Milan are continuing to plan for next season and they are already beginning to draw up a strategy of who they will sign, a report claims.
According to the latest from MilanNews, the Rossoneri management are continuing contacts over summer purchases, with Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara having set the priorities for the mercato once it reopens.
The number one target is the centre-back position and it is Sven Botman of Lille that tops the wish list for that specific area. At the moment he is the closest to joining and the one that the leadership are most confident of closing.
Then, Renato Sanches remains the main target for the midfield and the great desire to sign him is there, but the negotiations are not yet in the hot phase, so Milan will try to find a solution in the coming weeks.
Attention must also be paid to the attacking department because Milan would like to sign a player in that area too, though no names are mentioned despite recent links with Andrea Belotti, Jonathan David, Memphis Depay and others.
Please get gravenberg of ajax, he will be a good fit to fill kessie departure. But maybe he is too young.
As much as I’d like them to sign Botman I don’t think he should be priority number 1. Assuming Romagnoli leaves, a Tomori – Kjaer/Kalulu/Gabbia pairing isn’t exactly bad. The attack is in worse shape.
Renato Sanches was impressive against Chelsea today. Botman got off to a slow start but grew into the game. David made some nice runs; but he didn’t get enough chances with Chelsea being the better team.
