Milan to pay tribute to Kobe Bryant before game vs. Torino; 35,000+ crowd expected

By Oliver Fisher -

There will be a minute of silence before AC Milan’s Coppa Italia quarter-final clash against Torino in memory of Kobe Bryant, it has been confirmed.

As  MilanNews.it are reporting, a minute of silence will be observed tomorrow evening at San Siro before the match against Torino in light of the tragic death of Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna Maria and the victims of the Los Angeles helicopter accident.

The Rossoneri team will also play with a black armband as they look to reach the semi-finals of the cup for the fourth time in the last five seasons.

Meanwhile, MilanNews.it are also reporting that Milan have reached 30,000 tickets sold for the game against the Granata.

The club initially only opened the lower tier for the game but decided then to open the second tier on the red side, but they have now opened the orange side too so the two sidelines should be near full. It is possible that with late sales the crowd could surpass 35,000.
