Report: Milan stars Tonali and Giuliani receive end of season awards

AC Milan midfielder Sandro Tonali has won the Serie A Gentleman’s award and Laura Giuliani won the Lady Fair Play award, a report claims.

Italian press agency ANSA have reported that Tonali is the Lord of Serie A after he won the most votes in a poll promoted by Sport Mediaset (via Milan News).

Tonali came out on top as he beat Inter defender Milan Skriniar and Juventus defender Matthijs de Ligt to the top spot.

The former Brescia midfielder had an extremely strong end to the season and is now a permanent fixture in Stefano Pioli’s starting elevens.

There was success for AC Milan Women goalkeeper Laura Giuliani as well who received the Lady Fair Play award.

Tonali endured a tough first season at Milan last year but he worked hard to overcome his issues and is now reaping the rewards.

The Rossoneri clinched their first Scudetto since 2011 on Sunday.
