AC Milan are interested in a young Bosnian talent, even if it seems that he already has a move agreed for the summer.

In the summer mercato, anything can happen and Milan are banking on the fact that they can discuss a deal for Kerim Alajbegovic. There have been a few links to the youngster recently. However, his situation is tricky.

Indeed, he is currently owned by RB Salzburg. However, his former club Bayer Leverkusen agreed a buy-back clause in his sale and it seems that they are in the process of activating it currently. As a result, he would return to Germany only a year after heading to Austria.

It is understandable why, though. He has been fantastic for Salzburg and has already started to get Bosnian fans excited for his national team future.

Milan interested in Alajbegovic

Despite his short-term future already being clear, the Rossoneri are keeping an eye on him as Niccolò Ceccarini wrote in an editorial piece for Tuttomercatoweb, as MilanNews relays.

“AC Milan are also considering a potential signing and are closely monitoring Kerim Alajbegovic, a young Bosnian talent born in 2007 from Salzburg, on whom Bayer Leverkusen have already exercised their buy-back option.

“Juventus, Napoli, and Roma are also interested in him. For now, it’s just a possibility, but he’s a player AC Milan are turning their attention to.”
