Dusan Vlahovic’s situation is constantly evolving amid interest from AC Milan, and the latest idea could see him able to join another team for free.
Tuttosport confirm that Vlahovic is not part of Juventus’ plans. Following the arrival of Jonathan David, they are looking to bolster their forward line with a new striker and therefore the Serbian risks being on the peripheries again.

Vlahovic still has one year left on his contract with the club, in addition to commanding a very high salary of €12m net per year. This is why a new possibility has reportedly been put forward by Juventus in the last few hours.
Contract termination?
Juventus are reportedly considering offering Vlahovic the right to terminate his contract, thus avoiding paying the €24m gross salary stipulated in the Serbian’s contract. This solution is said to be presented to the player’s agents, but it remains to be seen whether Vlahovic will accept it or not.
If an agreement is reached, the former Fiorentina player could seek a new club on a free transfer, with Milan the side that have been most strongly linked. Otherwise, there are two alternatives for the striker.
The first is to ask Juventus for a severance package, and the second is simply to wait until the deal runs out in 2026, thus guaranteeing receiving the €12m. The Bianconeri are waiting to see how this situation unfolds before going for another striker, and the Rossoneri are keeping an eye on things.

I can see him leaving if Juventus agree to pay off about 6M of the salary he’s owed, because he could make that back elsewhere and it would save them about 11M. They’d have to be pretty desperate for the cash though, I don’t see why they wouldn’t keep him in the squad for another season in case of emergency.
Still, if Jonathan David works out well for them he’s on about half the wage, so fair play that could look like a good deal.
Not sure why people love Vlahovic. 20 goal striker? Yeah, five seasons ago with Fiorentina. He’s topped 10 goals once since his arrival at Juventus. He has a massive salary and his character has always been difficult. We don’t need expensive difficult players! Lorenzo Lucca is a better bet and will only cost 2-3M per year. There is a reason Conte wants him and not Vlahovic.

But, just hear me out, but, he cancels his contract with Juve and moves here for free, with 5-6 mil salary, then it’s not really a bad solution. Milan gets for free a decent rotation player. And maybe he will score 10+ goals.

2020 season had 21 goals, 2021 season had 24 goals, next 7 goals in 15 games(injury), than 10,16,10 ….how many did gimenez have for $35m?

I don’t know what to think about him to be honest. He can still improve, it just did not work out for him at Juve last year. With Max on Juve’s bench, he scored 16 goals in 23/24, so I believe with the right guidance and with this new midfield he can score 18-20 goals. But then again, Bebote is a quality striker as well, and I don’t think that we will sell/loan him so soon after his arrival. Only time will tell I guess.

We should absolutely consider Vlahovic. He’s not worth anywhere close tohis transfer market estimated value (cerca 35 M), especially with only a year left on his contract, but for a free transfer, this would be a bargain. The issue is obviously his salary, since the max we should pay him is 4M net a year, which is around what players like pulisic, RLC make. The question now is, how much severance is Juve willing to pay and how much of that 12M net is Vlahovic willing to sacrifice this year?
Milan should all out for David last week. Pay his agent only 15m + his salary only 6. Rather we go to another random strikers maybe need 30-40m. Masterclass from Juventus.
Well, first of all this “only 6”, would be one of the biggest salaries in Milan.
Second, so far, “masterclass” Juve has on their payroll hugely expensive Vlahovic’s contract.
If they offload Vlaho – we can talk, but so far they are in quite deep sheet financially. Not to mentioned they paid over 70mil for Vlaho.
